2019
09/27/19-10/12/19 Lazy Days Site, Seffner, FL (new RV needed some work)
09/14/19-09/27/19 Orlando RV Campground (Thousand Trails free with membership). One of our favorite sites when in Florida.
08/24/19-08/31/19 Washington DC/Capitol KOA Millersville, Maryland
08/17/19-08/24/19 Robin Hill, Allentown, PA (Encore)
08/10/19-08/17/19 Chestnut Lake, Atlantic City, NJ (Thousand Trails)
07/21/19-08/10/19 Robin Hill, Allentown, PA (Encore)
07/15/19-07/21/19 Pine Hill RV Park, Kutztown, PA (no discounts but Park has good spaces and good setups.)
07/13/19-07/15/19 Hershey RV & Camping Resort, Lebanon, PA (Thousand Trails) – we had to leave this park because there was no WiFi. Lorraine cannot work with not connection.
07/10/19-07/13/19 Hollywood Casino at Penn National Race Again another casino parking lot – which is just 30 minutes away from Hershey Park. Lots of room.
07/07/19-07/10/19 Niagara Falls Hartland Resort, Gasport, NY. This was scheduled by RPI but when we arrived we found that it only offered 50% off the $38/night rate plus electricity. So we had to pay $19/night plus electricity. We had plenty of room here and would of stayed longer if we could of gotten a cheaper price.
06/21/19-07/07/19 Kenisee Lake RV, Jefferson, OH (Thousand Trails). We have been to this park more than once. This time they assign you a slot instead of hunting for one. This was unusual for Thousand Trails sites but very welcomed. Pull through site was provided to us with tons of room. Wifi can be weak here.
06/23/19-06/27/19 Tomorrow’s Stars Resort, South Charleston, OH (RPI). This place was very small but we got a pull through site that as adequate.
06/11/19-06/14/19 Harrah’s Hoosier Park Casino. Another free primitive casino parking lot stay. Great parking lot – not crowded.
06/08/19-06/11/19 Illinois State Fairgrounds, Springfield, IN. Paid $20/night with full hookups. Again a nice fairground at a good price.
06/07/19-06/08/19 Antique Archeology, Le Clair, IA. Stay at Rhythm City Casino Resort. Free primitive parking in large lot.
06/04/19-06/07/19 Iowa State Fair Campgrounds Des Moines, Iowa, $25/night. Full hookups. Great community and large fairgrounds. Only can park on the grass. Heaviness of a 22 ton Class A caused us to be stuck in the mud since the ground was soft. Had to be pulled out. If the grounds were not wet, it would of been a nice stay.
06/01/19-06/04/19 Lancaster Recreation Event Center Lincoln, NE. $25/night. Electric connection only. Potable water fill up and dump station in parking lot at campground entrance.
05/26/19-06/01/19 Forbes Landing RV Park, Topeka, KS. $225.00/week with 10% discount.
05/24/19-05/26/19 Grapevine Bass Pro Shop, Grapevine, Texas. Dry camp night at Bass Pro. Nice primitive camping in the far end of the parking lot next to all the boats.
05/18/19-05/24/19 American Coach National Rally, KOA Lake Conroe As with more KOAs, this was a nice one but very large. We had more than 120 coaches there for the rally.
05/06/19-05/18/19 Lake Conroe RV, Wills, TX. Outside of Houston. Another Thousand Trails campground.
04/14/19-05/05/19 Medina Lake RV Campground Lakehills, TX. Thousand Trails campground. This is about an hour outside of San Antonio (as most Thousand Trails sites are remote) but it will be free camping for three weeks. It has macadam roads and the lake.
04/09/19-04/13/2019 Sunland Park Racetrack and Casino Sunland Park, NM which is across the street from El Paso, TX. Second stop here. $15/night with electric and water. Sewer is available across the parking lot. Great quick stop.
04/05/19-04/09/19 Boot Hill RV, Alamogordo, NM. Backin was $28/night with Good Sam discount (10%). Large sites. All dirt with lots of stones. (bad for Cocoa walking to and from doggie park).
04/03/19-04/05/19 Pietown RV Park, Pietown, NM. Quick stop in Pietown. Dirt park with no grass. $25 a night with no discounts.
03/28/19-04/03/19 Grand Canyon Trailer Village RV Park. This RV park is perfect inside the Grand Canyon. There is a shuttle at the gate that will take you to all stops. Cost was high but worth it.
2018-2019
10/01/18-03/30/19 ViewPoint RV & Golf, Phoenix, AZ
2018
09/23/18-09/30/18 Voyager RV, Tucson, AZ
09/22/18-09/23/18 Sunland Park Casino, 1200 Futurity Dr, Sunland Park, NM 88063. A quick stop between Dallas and Tucson. There are 7 water/electric sites in the parking lot for $15/per night. No grass. Large parking lot.
09/19/18-09/22/18 Traders Village RV Park, 2602 Mayfield Road Grand Prairie, Texas 75052. Great park with low rates. If you go, when using GPS, only put in Traders Village-no RV Park or you will be brought to a locked gate at the end of a cul de sac & you will need to turn around. Limited Grass & specific areas to walk the dog. Trash cans at each site.
09/16/18-09/19/18 Downtown Riverside RV Park, North Little Rock, Arkansas, Right on the river and great walking trails. Very low rates.
09/15/18-09/16/18 Graceland RV Park and Campground Memphis, TN Walking distance to Graceland.
09/11/18-09/15/18 KOA North Nashville. Millersville, TN. Moved to this one which has better WiFi. Set up was okay but avoid Spots 33-37 because you are right next to traffic and it will wake you up at 4:30 a.m.
09/09/18-09/11/18 Grande Ole RV Resort, Goodlettsville, TN. Had to leave because of bad Wifi. Not bad but set up is very strange. You pull in behind another rig and either have to back up to leave or hope the Rig in front of you will be gone by the time you leave so you can just pull out. The layout is a little strange as we had one Rig’s end on the passenger side of our Rig. When they went out to smoke, they were basically smoking near our front door.
09/06/18 – 09/09/18 Whispering Hills RV Park. Kentucky. Great park except DON’T stay in Site 220 as the neighbors sewer will be right next to your picnic table. Other sites are not laid out that way.
09/04/18- 09/06/18 Huntington/Fire Fox KOA West Virginia Nice KOA with great sites.
09/03/18-09/04/18 Pittsburgh, PA

04/24/18-08/28/18 Have moved from back and forth from Orlando RV Resort, Clermont, FL (3 weeks at a time) to Tropical Palms RV Resort, Kissimmee, FL (2 weeks at time). This allowed us to stay for free during this time (other than the monthly fee for Thousand Trails). Did visit Tallahassee and Biloxi during this period.

12/03/17-02/27/18 Voyage RV Resort. An Encore resort that we decided to stay for the winter. We found the area very cool however – 30’s in the morning which did not allow Lorraine to walk every morning. However, it has a full gym (which was not used much). (Encore pricing for winter. $1694+elec (approx $25/month)). https://www.thousandtrails.com/arizona/voyager-rv-resort-hotel/
2017
10/29/17-11/19/17 Golden Sun RV Resort, Phoenix, AZ. An Encore resort who had openings at the last minute for us. $194/per week with Thousand Trails discount. Very roomy but this is a mobile home park and they will fit you between mobile homes. Need to walk the dog down the middle of the road until you get to the doggie park or people will yell at you if you allow your dog to pee in the dirt. Otherwise, it has a good gym. https://www.rvonthego.com/arizona/golden-sun-rv-resort/
10/28-10/29 Verde Valley RV & Camping, Cottonwood, AZ (Thousand Trails) No internet or wifi so no phone or web. Have to call months in advance to reserve a 50 amp site. Only stayed one night. https://www.thousandtrails.com/arizona/verde-valley-rv-camping-resort/
10/16-10/28 Hidden Valley Resort, Albuquerque, NM (RPI membership $10/night) About 30 minutes outside ABQ. RPI site so only $10 per night plus $3 additional er night for 50 amp. Poorly maintained. Lots of weeds and no grass. Bad for dogs because stickers were pulled from Cocoa’s feet when walking her. https://www.resortparks.com/resort_rpi.php?resnum=442
09/26-10/15 Isleta Casino RV Park, Albuquerque, NM ($200/week, full hook ups). Large spaces and 2 lakes to walk around (2 miles). Issue with this is the train running early in the morning (1:30am and 4:30am). It is not quiet so it will wake you.
