Indiana – Indianapolis /Indiana State Capitol (Jun 2019)

We made a quick stop at the Indiana State Capitol again doing a self tour. This Capitol is a very quiet capitol. We think the chandeliers are the stars of the show.

As we were walking to the capitol we were able to see this mural.

Oliver P. Morton, was a U.S. Republican Party politician from Indiana. He served as the 14th Governor (the first native-born) of Indiana during the American Civil War, and was a stalwart ally of President Abraham Lincoln.

Justice and Liberty
The Senate
President Harrison
Apparently if you are working here and need to make a private call, you go to these phone booth for privacy.
and the Chandelier that were throughout the Capitol.

The Benjamin Harrison Presidential Site is a 1875 Italianate mansion exquisitely restored and the home of the 23rd President.
