In the end, we are in a new home and we are loving it. After Lazy Days made all the fixes, we have headed down to Miami until January.
We are currently staying in the Larry and Penny Thompson Memorial Park and Campground (https://www.miamidade.gov/parks/larry-penny.asp). We found this park after a lot of google searching and found that this park only charges $585 a month all year long. No higher price for “snow bird” season where other parks cost more than $1,000.
We will be moving to a total of three sites by the time we leave because the first site they tried to give us was too small. They will not just move someone from our new site to another site because there is a policy not to move any reservations so we have to move to any non-reserved site. Oh well, at least we can stay here until Jan 10th.
So this is just a quick update on where we are and what we have been doing. As we travel throughout Miami we will provide more updates.
