On our return trip to Grove, Oklahoma (where our RV was parked), we drove through Miami, Oklahoma.

We had a great time looking at murals in Miami, Oklahoma. We noticed that many of the murals are sponsored by businesses.

We also talked to an artist, Kyle, who was doing a new one after he finished the Bison on the same wall. It was unfortunate that we didn’t ask for his website. We cannot find Kyle Sly on the web.

The Bison is one that Kyle already finished. He was excited that we were taking pictures and posting it on our web.

Charles Banks Wilson was an artist who lived in Miami, OK. Permanent collections of Wilson’s work are housed in some of the most renowned museums and art galleries in the world. These include New York’s Metropolitan Museum, Washington’s Library of Congress, the Corcoran Gallery and the Smithsonian. Works by Wilson are a prominent feature of the Oklahoma State Capitol.
