So we left Colorado and are now staying in Moab, UT. We are not sharing the park we are in because we don’t want you to stay here. This is a park we found too late because there was no other parks available. You need to make your Moab reservations REALLY early. The issue with this park is that the dog park is out where all the stickers are and Dublyn couldn’t even walk without getting one or two in her paws. Because of this, Mike now has to drive Dublyn into town and let her go to the bathroom at the La Quinta parking lot that has LOTS of grass. Unfortunately, Dublyn now is getting (more) babied. (We are hoping she won’t be demanding at our next stay.)
The problem with Moab is that there is not a lot of information about their murals. We always want to put the artists names out there as it is important for them to get “publicized”. Anyhow, Moab is the stopping point when you want to go the Arches National Park or the Canyonlands National Park. “Moab is the largest city of, and the county seat on the southern edge of, Grand County in eastern Utah in the western United States, known for its dramatic scenery. The population is estimated at 5,322. Moab attracts many tourists annually, mostly visitors to the nearby Arches and Canyonlands national parks. The town is a popular base for mountain bikers who ride the extensive network of trails including the Slickrock Trail, and for off-roaders who come for the annual Moab Jeep Safari.”
